POTENTIAL END USERS

  • Water treatment plants, 9600 in the UK processing 1.7 million tonnes of sewage annually: the biosonic reactor can be used for the dispersion, sedimentation of the input materials and sludge pre-processing for digestion. We have the potential to supply two different systems: one for dispersion / sedimentation and one for sludge processing.
  • Anaerobic Digestion / biogas generating companies, who use sewage sludge as one of their input materials, and also manure, crop wastes and selected fractions of municipal waste streams. There are 146 centralised AD plants to produce biogas on a commercial scale and a further 109 non-sewage AD plants in the UK. We could provide these operators with an innovative ultrasonic pre-process for their sludges.
  • Across Europe, there are currently around 71,000 municipal wastewater plants, expected to invest €37.6bn by 2017 (researchandmarkets.com). Germany’s biogas economy is far greater than the UK’s; there are over 7,500 anaerobic digestion plants in Germany. We currently supply to many European companies, and regard export of our units as a strong future opportunity.
